Benki ya Absa Tanzania kuendelea kusaidia wanafunzi wenye mahitaji maalumu

BENKI YA DCB KUONGEZA MTAJI WA SH BILIONI 10.7

Mkurugenzi wa Usimamizi wa Masoko na Uchunguzi wa Mamlaka ya Masoko ya Mitaji na Dhamana (CMSA), Bw. BENKI ya Biashara ya DCB, imezindua zoezi ya uuzaji wa Hisa za Upendeleo, ikitarajia kupata zaidi ya sh bilioni 10.7 ili kuongeza kiasi cha mtaji wake unaofikia sh bilioni 15 kwa sasa, ili pamoja na mambo mengine kukidhi vigezo vilivyowekwa na Benki Kuu ya Tanzania (BoT), pamoja na kuwaletea wanahisa wake na watanzania kwa ujumla tija za kiuchumi.

Akizungumza katika hafla ya uzinduzi rasmi wa uuzaji wa hisa hizo jijini Dar es Salaam leo, Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya DCB, Bi. Zawadia Nanyaro alisema uamuzi huo unaenda sambamba na mikakati yao ya maendeleo ya miaka mitano katika kuongeza mtaji wake kutoka ulipo sasa hadi kufikia sh bilioni 61.

Bodi ya Wakurugenzi ya DCB iliidhinisha mpango mkakati wa miaka mitano ukijikita kwenye mambo makuu Matano; Kwanza kukuza mtaji wa benki kutoka shs bilioni 15 (2024) hadi kufikia shs bilioni 61 ifikapo mwaka 2028, pili ukusanyaji wa amana nafuu za benki kupitia wanahisa wakuu na wateja wetu, tatu kuongeza wigo wa mikopo bora itakayotolewa kwa ufanisi na umahiri, nne utaoaji wa mikopo kwa wateja wadogo wadogo na wa kati ili kuendelea kutimiza lengo la kuanzishwa kwa benki yetu na tano, kuboresha njia za utoaji huduma na kuongeza bidhaa zinazotolewa kwa njia za kijiditali."

Tukio la leo linaenda kuandika historia ya benki na kuanza kutimiza mkakati wa kwanza wa kuongeza mtaji wa benki, hivi sasa, mtaji wa benki uko kwenye kima cha chini kilichowekwa na Benki Kuu ya Tanzania, na ili kuweza kusimama imara kama benki, ongezeko la mtaji ni muhimu sana, benki inadhamiria kufanya biashara kubwa ambapo ili kufanikisha lengo hili, kuna ulazima wa kuongeza mtaji”, alisema Bi. Zawadia.

Mwenyekiti huyo aliongeza kuwa ili kuweza kuhakikisha mtaji wa benki unaendelea kukua mwaka hadi mwaka baada ya zoezi hili na pia kutumiza malengo ya benki, Bodi ya Wakurugenzi iliona ni muhimu kufanya mabadiliko machache ya kiutawala katika menejimenti ya benki yetu, na kumteu Ndugu Sabasaba Moshingi kama Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa benki mwenye uzoefu wa zaidi ya miaka 20 katika tansia ya benki, huku mabadiliko mengine yakifanyika katika idara ya biashara, mikopo na uendeshaji na teknolojia, idara zote hizi kwa ujumla ni nguzo muhimu katika biashara ya benki.

Alisema uuzaji wa Hisa za upendelo unatarajia kuwaletea wanahisa na watanzania kwa ujumla tija za kiuchumi, baada ya kuongeza mtaji wa benki ambapo unalenga kukuza biashara na kuwapatia wafanyabiashara wadogo wadogo na wa kati mitaji ya kukuza biashara zao na upande mwingine umiliki wa hisa za benki ya DCB unaunga mkono juhudi zinazoendelea za serikali ya awamu ya sita chini ya uongozi shupavu wa Mheshimiwa Rais, Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan za kuwaletea watu wake maendeleo.

Bodi ya DCB pamoja na Menejimenti ya benki ilipendekeza na kuidhinisha uuzaji wa Hisa za Upendeleo 97,646,913 zenye thamani ya shs 10,741,160,430 kwa bei ya punguzo ya shs 110 kwa kila hisa moja, kinyume na shs 160 iliyopo sokoni, ni matumaini yetu zoezi hii litapata muitikio mkubwa kutoka kwa wanahisa wetu, ambao wana imani na benki hii, bodi na menejimenti yake kwa ujumla."

Benki imerahisisha ununuzi wa hisa kwa kuruhusu ununuzi kwa njia za kidigitali ili kuongeza wigo wa ushiriki wa wanahisa, natoa rai kwa wanahisa kuchangamkia fursa hii ya kununua hisa kwa njia za kidigitali, au kupitia mawakala wa Soko la Hisa la Dar es Salaam au kwa kufika kwenye matawi yetu ya benki”, aliongeza Bi. Nanyaro.

Akizungumza katika hafla hiyo, Mkurugenzi wa Usimamizi wa Masoko na Uchunguzi wa Mamlaka ya Masoko ya Mitaji na Dhamana (CMSA), Bw. Exaut Julius aliipongeza Benki ya DCB kwa uamuzi huo uliofanyika kwa weledi na ufanisi mkubwa na kupata idhini kutoka CMSA.

Akimwakilisha Ofisa Mtendaji Mkuu wa mamlaka hiyo, CPA Nicodemus Mkama, Bwana Julius alisema, serikali kupitia Mamlaka ya Masoko ya Mitaji na Dhamana ina jukumu la kuendeleza na kusimamia masoko ya mitaji hapa nchini, ikiwa ni pamoja na kuhakikisha kwamba shughuli katika masoko ya mitaji zinafanyika kwa kufuata sheria, taratibu na miongozo ili kuleta uwazi na haki kwa washiriki wote.

Mamlaka ya Masoko ya Mitaji na Dhamana itaendelea kujenga mazingira wezeshi na shirikishi ili kuwezesha taasisi katika sekta ya umma na binafsi kutumia masoko ya mitaji kupata fedha za kutekeleza miradi na shughuli za maendeleo ikiwa ni pamoja na kuuza hisa kwa umma, hatifungani za miundombinu, hatifungani rafiki za mazingira, hatifungani za bluu, hatifungani za jamii na hatifungani za taasisi za serikali”, alisema Bw. Julius.

Awali akizungumza katika hafla hiyo, Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa benki hiyo, Bw. Sabasaba Moshingi alisema, yeye pamoja na menejimenti yote ya DCB wamejipanga kuhakikisha hadi kufikia Mwaka 2028 wanaandika upya historia ya benki hiyo sambamba na mkakati wa miaka mitano wa maendeleo ya benki hiyo wa kuhakikisha benki inaendelea kukua na kupata faida.

Alisema kwa kuthibitisha hayo, benki hiyo imeweza kutengeneza faida katika robo ya pili na ya tatu huku ikiendelea kutoa huduma za kibenki bila kusahau jukumu la kuanzishwa kwake takribani miaka 22 iliyopita ikiweka mkazo mkubwa katika huduma zake za kidigitali ili kuhakikisha watanzania wengi wanafikiwa na huduma za kibenki.

Tumejipanga kuhakikisha benki yetu inaendeleza maono ya kuanzishwa kwake ambayo ni kusaidia miradi ya kupunguza umasikini kwa kutoa mikopo ya mitaji kwa wajasiriamali wadogo na wa kati waliokosa huduma hizi kutokana na kutokidhi vigezo vya benki ya kibiashara za wakati ule."

Uuzaji huu wa Hisa za Upendeleo ambao sasa benki yetu inafanya kwa mara ya nne kwa vipindi tofauti utasaidia kuongeza uwezo wa benki yetu katika kuwahudumia wateja wetu na ni imani yetu pia kuanzia mwakani wanahisa wetu wataweza kuanza kupata gawio hivyo tunaomba waendelee kutuunga mkono”, alisema.

Stanbic na GAIN wanaungana kuongeza mchango wa SME katika sekta ya chakula ili kuboresha upatikanaji wa lishe bora nchini Tanzania.


Programu inalenga kuboresha biashara zinazoongozwa na wanawake kwa kuwapa ujuzi katika usimamizi wa zabuni, uboreshaji wa bidhaa, usalama wa chakula, na mbinu za masoko.

• Uzinduzi huu unaendana na dhamira ya Stanbic ya kukuza maendeleo endelevu na kuwawezesha wajasiriamali wa ndani.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania — Jumatano, 30 Oktoba 2024: Benki ya Stanbic Tanzania, kwa kushirikiana na Shirika la Kimataifa la Kuboresha Lishe (GAIN) kupitia Mtandao wa Biashara wa Kuongeza Lishe Tanzania (SBN), wamezindua kikundi cha saba cha Programu ya Maendeleo ya Wafanyabiashara chini ya kituo cha ukuzaji biashara cha Stanbic (BSI). Ushirikiano huu unalenga kuwawezesha Biashara Ndogo na za Kati (SMEs), hasa zile zinazoongozwa na wanawake katika sekta ya chakula na lishe, kujenga mifano ya biashara inayozingatia maendeleo endelevu, kuchangia malengo ya ukuaji wa kiuchumi wa Tanzania kwa ujumla.

Ushiriki wa GAIN unaonesha dhamira yake ya kuboresha usalama wa chakula na lishe nchini Tanzania kwa kuwawezesha wafanyabiashara wa ndani kufuata viwango bora vya usalama na ubora wa chakula. Kwa kuunganisha mafunzo juu ya lishe na usalama wa chakula, GAIN inalenga kuhakikisha kuwa wazalishaji wa chakula wa Tanzania wanakidhi viwango vya sekta na kukuza mazoea bora ya lishe. Msaada wa GAIN utasaidia sio tu kuimarisha biashara hizi bali pia kuboresha ubora wa lishe wa bidhaa zinazopatikana kwa jamii za Kitanzania, hivyo kuchangia taifa lenye afya bora.

Dkt. Winfirda Mayilla, Mkuu wa Programu wa GAIN Tanzania, alisema, “Ushirikiano wetu na Stanbic haujalenga tu kuboresha ushindani wa SME za Tanzania bali pia kuinua jamii kwa kuongeza athari chanya za lishe kutoka kwa biashara hizi. Ushirikiano huu ni hatua kuelekea kufanikisha malengo ya GAIN ya kufanya upatikanaji wa vyakula vyenye virutubishi na unafuu kwa wote.”

Washiriki wa kundi hili la saba wamepata mafunzo maalumu ambayo yanakwenda zaidi ya ujuzi wa msingi wa biashara ili kushughulikia maeneo muhimu yanayoathiri biashara zao moja kwa moja. Mtaala ulioimarishwa ulijumuisha masomo ya juu katika usimamizi wa zabuni, uundaji na uboreshaji wa bidhaa, usalama wa chakula, na masoko ya kimkakati. Haya yote yamewapatia washiriki maarifa ya kuboresha ubora wa uzalishaji wao, kuboresha mazoea ya usalama wa chakula, kuuza bidhaa zao kwa ufanisi, na kushiriki katika fursa za zabuni za wauzaji.

Kupitia juhudi za pamoja za Stanbic na GAIN, washiriki wamepata zana zinazohitajika kutekeleza mazoea salama na yenye lishe katika uzalishaji wa chakula, kuhakikisha biashara zao zinakidhi viwango vya afya na ubora. Maarifa haya ya msingi juu ya usalama wa chakula ni muhimu kwa kujenga uaminifu miongoni mwa watumiaji. Zaidi ya hayo, programu hii imewasaidia washiriki kuimarisha mbinu zao za masoko, hivyo kuwawezesha kufikia masoko mapana na kushindana kwa ufanisi zaidi ndani ya sekta hii.

Aidha, washiriki wamejifunza kujenga mifano ya biashara yenye uthabiti inayozingatia maendeleo endelevu na kuingiza maudhui ya ndani, jambo ambalo linaongeza hamasa ya ushirikishwaji wa kiuchumi. Mbinu hii inasaidia sio tu mafanikio yao ya muda mrefu bali pia inachangia mazingira ya kiuchumi yanayozingatia usawa na uendelevu nchini Tanzania.

Programu hii inatoa miezi sita ya ushauri maalumu, ikiwapatia washiriki mwongozo wa kuendelea ambao unawasaidia kukabiliana na changamoto za soko na kukuza biashara zao kuwa uendelevu. Kwa kuongezea, wahitimu watajiunga na mtandao mpana wa wajasiriamali ndani ya kituo cha ukuzaji biashara cha Stanbic na mtandao wa SUN Business, kuwapatia ufikiaji wa miunganisho ya thamani na uwezekano wa ushirikiano.

Kai Mollel, Mkuu wa Kitengo cha Ukuaji Biashara kutoka Benki ya Stanbic Tanzania, alisema, “Kituo cha ukuaji biashara cha Stanbic siyo tu mahali pa mafunzo—ni jukwaa ambalo biashara za ndani hupata rasilimali, mitandao, na mwongozo wanaohitaji ili kukuza biashara zao. Kupitia ushirikiano kama huu na GAIN, tunaunda fursa endelevu zinazowezesha biashara na kujenga Tanzania yenye nguvu na yenye afya.”

Tangu kuanzishwa kwake mwaka 2022, kituo cha ukuaji biashara cha Stanbic kimekuwa nguzo muhimu ya dhamira ya Benki ya Stanbic Tanzania katika kusaidia biashara za ndani. Programu za BSI zinalenga kuwawezesha SME kwa njia za kujenga uwezo maalum, hivyo kuwawezesha kushiriki kwa manufaa katika sekta muhimu kama kilimo, viwanda, na sasa chakula na lishe. 

Zaidi ya SME 200 wamepata mafunzo na zaidi ya ajira 500 zimeanzishwa hadi sasa kupitia rogramu ya Maendeleo ya Wauzaji ya BSI, ambayo imeonesha athari chanya katika mfululizo wa vikundi sita vilivyopita, ikichangia kwa kiasi kikubwa kwenye uhimilivu wa uchumi na uundaji wa ajira nchini Tanzania.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: Stanbic Bank Tanzania, in partnership with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), has launched the seventh cohort of the Supplier Development Program under the Stanbic Business Incubator (BSI). This collaboration focuses on empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), particularly women-led businesses in the food and nutrition sector, to develop more sustainable and scalable business models, contributing to Tanzania’s broader economic growth goals.

GAIN’s participation reflects its commitment to enhancing food security and nutrition in Tanzania by empowering local businesses to adopt better food safety and quality standards. The program offers six months of dedicated coaching, providing participants with ongoing mentorship to help them navigate market challenges and grow their businesses sustainably. In addition, graduates will join an extensive network within the Stanbic Business Incubator and GAIN communities, giving them access to valuable connections and potential partnerships.
