SERIKALI YAZINDUA (PAVIA NA PROFORMA) KUDHIBIRI UBORA NA VIWANGO VYA MADAWA.

Mganga Mkuu wa Serikali-Wazara ya Afya, Prof. Mohammad Bakari Kambi, akiongea katika uzinduzi wa miradi mikubwa miwili (PAVIA na PROFORMA), inayolenga kuweka mifumo ya kuthibiti ubora na viwango vya madawa yanasambazwa na kutumiwa katika masoko ya Tanzania na nchi zingine za Afrika. Kaimu Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Mamlaka ya Chakula na Dawa Tanzania (TFDA). Adam Fimbo,  akiongea katika uzinduzi wa miradi mikubwa miwili (PAVIA na PROFORMA), inayolenga kuweka mifumo ya kuthibiti ubora na viwango vya madawa yanayosambazwa na kutumiwa katika masoko ya Tanzania na nchi zingine barani Afrika.

Mamlaka ya chakula na dawa nchini (TFDA) kwa kushirikiana na taasisi mbalimbali Afrika jana wamebuni miradi miwili mikubwa yenye lengo ya boresha, kuhakiki na kufuatilia ubora na viwango vya madawa yanayosambazwa na kutumiwa na binadamu.

“Lengo kuu ni kumlinda mlaji na watumiaji wa dawa,” amesema Mganga Mkuu wa Serikali Kutoka Wizara ya Afya, Profesa Muhammad Bakari Kambi, wakati wa ufunguzi wa miradi ya PAVIA na PROFORMA, yenye lengo la kuweka mifumo ya kuthibiti ubora wa madawa barani Afrika. Miradi hii inafadhaliwa na Programu ya Maendeleo ya Majaribio ya Dawa Kwa Nchi za Ulaya na Afrika (EDCTP).

Akifafanua, Mganga Mkuu wa serikali amesema miradi hii itasaidia pia kufuatilia kwa urahisi madhara ya madawa yanayosambazwa na kutimiwa katika masoko.

‘’Miradi hasa itaweza kufanya ufuatiliaji matukio baada ya mgonjwa kutumia dawa husika na kuona ni kwa namna ipi imeweza kumsaidia au imemletea madhara baada ya kutumia ila hatua za haraka ziweze kuchukuliwa,’’ alisema Profesa Kambi.

Alisema kwamba miradi hii kwa pamoja itaweza kushughulikia usalama wa dawa kwa watumiaji na kufanya kwa kina udhibiti wa dawa bandia katika sehemu zote za nchini pamoja na maeneo ya mipakani.

Katika utekelezaji wa miradi hii kwa pamoja itatoa fursa kwa watumishi wa umma kujifunza jinsi miradi inavyoweza kufanya kazi na upatikanaji na utoaji wa taarifa muhimu tena kwa wakati katika kupambana na dawa bandia nchini.

Profesa Kambi aliongeza kwamba miradi inatarajiwa pia kuanza kubuni mitaala maalum itakayotumiwa na vyuo vikuu nchini katika juhudi za kuanza kuwandaa wanafunzi mapema jinsi ya kukabiliana na matokeo ya dawa kwa mgonjwa.

Kwa upande wake, Mkurugenzi wa Dawa, kutoka Mamlaka ya chakula na dawa nchini, Adam Fimbo amesema usalama wa dawa nchini upo na mamlaka kupitia miradi hiyo miwili wataweza kuendelea kuboresha huduma za upatikanaji na udhibiti wa dawa hafifu na bandia katika soko la dawa nchini.

‘’Tumeungana na nchini kadhaa katika uanzishwaji na utekelezaji wa miradi hii katika harakati za kuweza kupambana matokeo baada ya mgonjwa kutumia dawa na kuweza kutengeneza mifumo inayoweza kuleta taarifa mapema na kuweza kuwasiliana kwa haraka na kubadilishana uzoefu,’’ aliongeza Fimbo.

“Sisi kama mamlaka ya chakula na dawa jukumu letu ni kusajili dawa, kuhakiki na kusiruhusu zitumike nchini lakini pia kuhakikisha tunafuatilia kwa karibu matokeo ya dawa kwa wagonjwa na tukigundua hazitowi matokeo chanya tunaziondoa mara moja,’’ alifafanua

Alifafanua kwamba miradi hiyo miwili inatasaidia kwa uhakika kutengeneza mifumo ya ufuatiliaji wa dawa kwenye soko na kuwajengea uwezo taasisi mbalimbali za afya nchini na kupelekea miradi hii kwenye mitaala ya vyuo vikuu.

Kwa upande wake, Afisa Mradi wa EDCTP, Bibi. Michelle Nderu alisema kwamba wameamua kufadhili miradi hiyo ili kuleta uzoefu kutoka kwenye nchini zilizoendelea ili kuboresha matumizi sahihi ya dawa kwa binadamu.

‘’Miradi hii itaweze kuongeza nguvu zaidi katika maeneo mengi katika nchini kadhaa chini ya jangwa la Sahara katika juhudi za kumlinda mgonjwa dhidi ya dawa bandia,’’ alisema.

Nderu aliongeza kwamba lengo la miradi hii ni kusaidia kuimarisha mifumo ya kitaifa ya afya kwa nchini za Afrika ili kuzalisha dawa mpya na zenye usalama na ubora wa uhakika na pia ufuatiliaji katika masoko.

Miradi ya PAVIA na Profoma inatekelezwa na kadhaa, ikiwa ni pamoja na Kenya, Italy, Uholanzi, Rwanda, Swedena na Ethiopia.

Benki ya Barclays Tanzania yasaidia kambi ya upasuaji wa watoto wenye tatizo la vichwa vikubwa na mgongo wazi na kutoa kadi za bima ya afya (NHIF) 200 kwa watoto hao.

Hafa hiyo ilifanyika katika Taasisi ya MOI, Dar es Salaam jana. Wa pili kushoto (mstari wa nyuma) ni kwa Kaimu Mkurugenzi wa Tiba wa Taasisi ya Mifupa Muhimbili (MOI), Dk.Nicephorus Rutabansibwa, watumishi wa MOI na wa kutoka Barclays.
Madaktari wa upasuaji wa MOI wakifanya upasuaji mwa mmoja wa watoto wanaosumbuliwa na tatizo la kichwa kikubwa katika kambi ya upasuaji iliyodhaminiwa na Barclays katika hospitali hiyo jana. Baadhi ya wafanyakazi wa benki hiyo wakiongozwa na Mkuu wa Kitengo cha Ukusanyaji wa Mikopo Isiyolipwa wa Barclays Khatibu Mohammedy (nyuma katikati), wakishuhudia.
Baadhi ya watoto 200 waliopewa msaada wa kadi za bima ya afya (NHIF) na benki ya Barclays Tanzania wakionyesha kadi zao katika hafla hiyo katika hafla ambayo benki hiyo pia ilidhamini kambi ya siku moja ya upasuaji wa watoto 30 wenye matatizo ya vichwa vikubwa na mgongo wazi.

Uber in Tanzania partners with Idris Sultan as Uber Brand Ambassador for 2018


Uber today officially announced Idris Sultan, as its new Uber brand ambassador in Tanzania for 2018, making Idris the first Tanzanian artiste to be the face of Uber the most popular ride-hailing application in Tanzania.

The comedian, actor and radio host was unveiled during an elegant and exclusive event dubbed #IdrisnaUber that was only open to a few members of the public and media at an upscale, cocktail event held at Akemi restaurant in Dar es Salaam.

“We worked hard to make sure that we chose a relevant and exciting Uber brand ambassador in Tanzania” said Elizabeth Njeri, Marketing Manager for Uber in East Africa. Idris Sultan is a fun and eccentric artiste who is also well respected in the art scene from comedy, acting and radio hosting. This announcement comes high on the heels after Uber recently announced a partnership with Tigo that enables Tigo customers to get free data when they use the Uber app. The first of its kind partnership in Tanzania has been beneficial to current Uber riders and driver-partners and encouraged more riders and drivers to sign up and use the Uber app.

Airtel Tanzania yaongoza katika mitandao ya kijamii

Mkurugenzi wa Masoko Airtel Tanzania, Bwn Isack Nchunda akiongea baada ya Airtel kuibuka kinara katika kutoa hudumia kupitia mitandao ya kijamii, akishuhudia Mkurugenzi wa Mawasiliano Airtel Tanzania, Bi Singano Mallya
Airtel Tanzania imetajwa kuwa moja ya makampuni bora ambayo yanajibu vizuri maswali ya mashabiki na wateja wake katika robo mwaka ya kwanza ya mwaka 2018.
Ripoti hii imetolewa na kampuni ya Socialbakers ambayo ni moja ya makampuni yanayoongoza duniani katika kutoa tathmini kuhusu namna makampuni mbalimbali yanawajibika katika kujibu maswali ya wateja wao katika mitandao ya kijamii.

Mitandao ya kijamii kama Face book inatakiwa kutangazwa zaidi ili itumike kwa wingi kwani itapunguza usumbufu wa wateja kusubiri majibu kwa muda mrefu kama ilivyokuwa hapo awali ambapo walilazimika kupiga simu Airtel. “Kwa kupitia mitandao ya kijamii majibu yanatolewa hapo hapo na hili ndilo limetufanya tutambuliwe kwani tumeweza kutumia njia hii kwa ufanisi mkubwa na tathmini ya Socialbakers imeonesha kuwa katika robo ya kwanza ya mwaka huu tulijibu maswali kwa asilimia 98 na hivi kuibuka kidedea,” aliongeza Ndunda

Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa Benki ya NBC, Theobald Sabi (kushoto), akikabidhi cheti kwa mmoja wa wafanyakazi wa benki hiyo, Jacqueline Sindano katika hafla iliyoandaliwa na benki hiyo kuwapongeza na kutambua mchango wa wafanyakazi wake waliohusika kufanikisha uuzwaji wa hisa za awali za Vodacom Tanzania na hatimaye kuingizwa katika Soko la Hisa la Dar es Salaam (DSE). Hafla hiyo ilifanyika jijini Dar es Salaam hivi karibuni.
